Are there any hidden fees?

No. The price listed for each program is the full monthly cost, which includes physician review, provider messaging, and free shipping. There is no membership fee, no enrollment fee, and no cancellation fee. If a physician declines to prescribe, you are not charged for medication you did not receive.

Does insurance cover this?

Compounded medications are generally not covered by insurance because they are not FDA-approved finished drug products. FDA-approved generics (sildenafil, tadalafil, finasteride) may be covered by some insurance plans with a copay. We do not bill insurance directly. Many patients use HSA or FSA accounts, which can typically be used for compounded medications when prescribed by a licensed physician.

Can I use my HSA or FSA?

In most cases, yes. Compounded medications and FDA-approved prescriptions from a licensed physician are generally eligible for HSA and FSA reimbursement. Check with your plan administrator to confirm eligibility for your specific account.

What if I am not approved for treatment?

If a licensed physician determines that treatment is not appropriate for you, you are not charged for medication you did not receive. The physician will explain the reasoning and may suggest alternatives or a referral to your primary care physician.

Can I cancel at any time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All programs are month-to-month with no long-term contracts. You can cancel, pause, or modify your plan at any time through your patient portal or by emailing care@puri.pro. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Why is compounded medication cheaper than brand-name?

Accepted Answer

Compounded medications do not carry the cost of clinical trials, FDA approval, post-market surveillance, or brand marketing. They are prepared by licensed pharmacies from bulk active pharmaceutical ingredients. The underlying API cost is low relative to brand-name retail pricing. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and have not been evaluated for equivalence to brand products.
