The Process
How Puri works.
Four steps. Online assessment, physician review, pharmacy fulfillment, discreet shipping. A licensed physician makes the prescribing decision on every intake. A prescription is not guaranteed.
Complete a 5-minute assessment
Answer questions about your health history, current medications, symptoms, and goals. The intake collects everything a licensed physician needs to make a clinical decision. Your information is encrypted and stored per HIPAA requirements.
A licensed physician reviews your intake
A US-licensed physician reviews your assessment, typically within 24 hours for non-controlled medications. The physician evaluates whether treatment is clinically appropriate for your situation. They may ask follow-up questions or request lab work before deciding.
If approved, your prescription goes to a licensed pharmacy
If the physician determines that treatment is appropriate, they send the prescription to a licensed compounding pharmacy. The pharmacy compounds your medication per the physician's specifications. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved finished drug products.
Medication ships to your door
Your medication ships in plain, discreet packaging with no indication of the contents. Most orders arrive within a few business days of physician approval. You have access to provider messaging for questions, dose adjustments, and refill management.
What if you are not approved?
A licensed physician may decline to prescribe. This is not a failure of the platform. It is the system working correctly.
Common reasons include drug interactions, uncontrolled health conditions, contraindications specific to your medical history, or a clinical picture that suggests a different treatment approach. The physician will explain the reasoning.
If you are declined, you are not charged for medication you did not receive. You can discuss alternative paths with your primary care physician, who may have options we do not offer through this platform.
Important disclosure
Compounded medications are not FDA-approved finished drug products and have not been independently evaluated by the FDA for safety, efficacy, or manufacturing consistency. A prescription is not guaranteed. A licensed physician decides based on your clinical picture. Always consult your personal physician before starting, stopping, or switching any medication.
